Cam2PDF ("the app") is a tool for scanning documents and creating PDF files. We respect our users' privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

2. Data Collection

Cam2PDF does not collect, store or transmit any personal data or user information.

The app:

• Does NOT collect analytics data
• Does NOT collect user identifiers
• Does NOT send your documents, images or PDF files over the network
• Does NOT use cookies or tracking technologies
• Does NOT require user registration
• Does NOT use ad networks

3. Local Data Processing

The app processes the following data only on your device:

• Images: Scanned and captured page images are stored in device storage
• PDF files: Generated PDF files are saved to device storage
• Settings: App settings are stored in the app's own local storage
• Text recognition: OCR and document edge detection run entirely on-device (Google ML Kit), without a network connection

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses three Google services:

• Google Play Billing: Handles Premium subscription payments. Your payment details go to Google, not to us. The app only learns whether a subscription is active.
• Google Play: Handles app updates and review prompts.
• Google ML Kit: Performs document and text recognition entirely on your device. Your images are not sent to Google.

5. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• 📷 Camera: To capture pages
• 💾 Storage: To save images and PDF files to your device
• 🌐 Internet: For Google Play purchases and checking for app updates

These permissions are used only for these purposes. Your documents are never sent over the network.

6. Data Sharing

When you use the app's share or export feature:

• You choose which app or service the file goes to
• Sharing is done through Android's native sharing system
• Cam2PDF does not manage or store information about sharing

7. Purchases and Subscriptions

Premium features are available as a recurring subscription that begins with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Subscriptions are handled entirely through Google Play. We do not process or retain your payment details. The subscription can be cancelled at any time through Google Play subscriptions or the app's settings.

8. Data Security

The app does not send your documents over the network, so they cannot leak from our servers - we do not have them. The security of the files on your device depends on your device's own protections.

9. Children's Privacy

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy. Changes will be announced with app updates and by the updated date at the top of this page.
